Getting To Dublin
Dublin, Ireland's stunning Capital is seperated by the river Liffey. You'll find us on the South side of the river we're beside Christchurch Cathedral, (near Dublin Castle & not far from Trinity College) In Kinlay House, 2-12 Lord Edward Street, Dublin 2. See map below:

Getting to Dublin - By Plane

Fares can be quite reasonable. Try the list below - to secure the cheapest deals book early.

Remember, if you are flying in on the day of your tour, please allow a minimum of 1 and a 1/2 hours from landing time to your tour check-in time. If you are flying out of Dublin the day your tour returns, allow a minimum of one-hour travel time to the airport - just in case! Please note, these times are guidelines only.

Transport from the Airport
Aircoach Provides a 24-hour service between the airport and the city with departures every 15 minutes from 05:00 until midnight and hourly from midnight until 05:00. Timetables can be viewed online at www.aircoach.ie and tickets can be bought from the driver when boarding. The cost is €7 one-way and €12 return.

Airlink Operates to and from the airport approximately every 20 minutes and is €6 each way. Jump on either bus number 747 and alight at Trinity College or number 748 and alight at Aston Quay - both are a 10 minute walk from Kinlay House Hostel and check-in for your tour is in Kinlay House reception. Visit www.dublinbus.ie for further details and timetable information.

Dublin Bus This is the most economical means of transport into the city. Take the 16A and alight at Trinity College. Kinlay House hostel is a 10 minute walk along Lord Edward Street and check-in for your tour is in their reception area. The cost is approximately €2 each way. Note, correct change is required.

A Taxi from Dublin International Airport to the city centre will cost approximately €25 - €35 depending on traffic and will take approximately 30-40 minutes.

Getting to Dublin - By Bus & Ferry from London

Usually the cheapest option is the National Express coach, which is around a twelve-hour journey from London's Victoria Coach station. The coach will collect you in London bring you down to Hollyhead to get the ferry and then drop you off at Dublin's main Bus Station. Dublin's main Bus Station is on the North side of the Liffey and is approximately a twenty minute walk from Shamrocker Adventures office. 

You can book your National Express coach tickets between London and Dublin at an exclusive Shamrocker Adventures rate.  When you pay for the National Express through Shamrocker Adventures you will receive an e-ticket with your voucher ID, Security Code and directions to the National Express Website where you will book your departure date and time.

Getting to Dublin - By Train & Ferry from London

The train & ferry is generally more expensive than Natioanl Express but it's a quicker journey. Try to book as far in advance to get the Super Apex/Apex fares - a great saving on the normal fare price, and available under certain conditions.

Transport from Dun Laoghaire Ferryport
DART - Dublin's train service operates a service from Dun Laoghaire Dart Station to Tara Street Station in the city centre. From the station it is about a 15 minute walk to Kinlay House and check-in for your tour is in their reception. Visit www.irishrail.ie for further details and timetable information.

Dublin Bus Take the 46A bus into the City centre and alight at Suffolk Street. The cost is approximately €2 each way. Note, correct change is required.
