Explore the best of England & Wales

Day 1: London to Bath

Heading West and back in time, we stop off at the Uffington White Horse, followed by World heritage site that is Avebury Standing Stones.  Once fully mystified, we'll head to the gorgeous georgian city of Bath, our nightly stop, allowing plenty of time for exploration of the architecture, the Roman Baths and the Abbey.

Explore Wild Wales

Day 2: Bath to Wales

Back on the bus and across the border into Wales we'll go, taking the stupendous suspension bridge of the mighty severn to boot.  Once in Wales, and initial stop at chepstow with it's norman castle will be followed soon after with a wander around the ruins of Tintern Abbey.  Heading Northwards, Hereford beckons for lunch, and a chance to pick up supplies for the evening meal.  Taking in the pontysylite aqueduct on the way, our stop for the night is a romantically remote farmhouse on the cusp of the snowdonia national park.

Snowdonia National Park

Day 3: Wales to The Lake District

After a hearty breakfast, we head up into Snowdonia to see the mighty lady, with cameras set to 'stunning'.  Then a quick jaunt over to Anglesey to attempt to pronounce Europe's longest place names, before entering the castle walled town of Conwy.  Back into England, we set a course for the Lake District, quite simply the most awesome, outstanding, breathtaking, awe inspiring, tear inducing, heart swelling, pulchritudinous, exceptional scenery in England, nah the Island, in fact the world!!!!  Take the chance to go for a walk, a cruise on the lake or talk with the friendly locals.

York catherdral

Day 4: Lake District to York

In the morning we'll head a little deeper into the heart of the Lakes, to Tarn Hows for soothing ramble, followed by break at Hawkshead where a certain William Wordsworth was educated.  Plotting a course East, we will cross into Yorkshire and stop for a proper cuppa and perhaps Beef in Yorkshire pudding at Skipton.  Belly's full, we continue to York in search of Vikings, before seeking peace in Beverly where we sleep in an old Friary.

Trt Archery near Robin Hood Sherwood Forest

Day 5: York to London

England greatest Legend and the Worlds greatest writer combine to bring an end to our epic adventure.  Firstly Sherwood Forrest, where Robin Hood once robbed the rich to feed the poor use to live.  From Sherwood to Stratford on Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare, the greatest playwright of all time.  After paying our respect to the great am, it's back to London in time for fresh adventures.
