TRAD MUSIC FESTIVAL 2012

Traditional Irish music is known locally as ‘trad music’ and among those in the know, Co. Clare is often regarded as the home of this great Irish music tradition. We’ve combined the best that Ireland has to offer with our Shamrocker trips to give you an authentic local experience.

The Fleadh Nua and Ennis Trad Festival both bring together all the best of traditional Irish culture, music, dance and song. Mix with street performances, parades and a Guinness or two and you will get a unique insight and amazing time in Ireland amongst its people.

MATCH MAKER FESTIVAL 2012

Matchmaking has been an Irish tradition for centuries and it’s the small spa town of Lisdoonvarna that hosts the largest singles event in Europe. For centuries, visitors have flocked to the town, followed hot on the heels by local farmers looking for a wife (with a little help from the Matchmaker himself). Today the month long festival attracts over 40,000 ‘singles’ who get stuck in to the music, dancing and speed dating. The craic is mighty! We’ve combined a visit to the festival with our 3 Day Southern Rocker. Play your cards right and you might just be bringing home more than memories from the Emerald Isle…
